Jangpura Election Results, Manish Sisodia Election Result 2025: Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) Manish Sisodia concedes defeat from Jangpura seat, said he hopes BJP will work for people. Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Tarvinder Singh Marwah won the Jangpura seat.

In the previous Delhi Assembly elections in 2020, AAP’s Praveen Kumar won the seat with 45,133 votes, defeating BJP’s Impreet Singh Bakshi, who secured 29,070 votes. Congress’ Tarvinder Singh Marwah managed 13,565 votes. AAP also dominated the 2015 elections, with Praveen Kumar securing 43,927 votes, followed by BJP’s Maninder Singh Dhir with 23,477 votes, and Congress’ Marwah with 22,662 votes.

Jangpura witnessed a voter turnout of 60.6% in 2020, with 88,561 valid votes cast. The 2015 elections saw a higher turnout of 64.3%, with 90,990 votes polled.

Meanwhile, early trends in the Delhi Assembly elections showed the BJP taking the lead with projections indicating the party ahead in 30 seats. AAP followed closely with leads in 22 constituencies, while Congress was leading in just one. In a surprising initial setback for AAP, party supremo and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was trailing against BJP’s Parvesh Verma in the New Delhi constituency, according to TV projections.

The election results are expected to determine the political landscape of Delhi for the next five years. Counting of votes continues as all eyes remain on key battleground constituencies.
