The Lucknow police on Saturday found the body of a 25-year-old man, whose demise appeared to be a result of suicide. This incident took place at the official residence of BJP MLA Yogesh Shukla, situated in the Hazratganj area. As of now, no suicide note has been found.
The victim has been identified as Shreshta Tiwari, an individual closely associated with Shukla’s media team. According to the authorities, late on Saturday night, a relative of the victim made a distress call, indicating that Tiwari had expressed intentions of taking his own life. In response to this alarming information, a police team promptly reached the MLA’s flat.
Upon arrival, they encountered a locked door from the inside. Despite continuous attempts to gain entry, there was no response. Consequently, the police were compelled to force their way in, where they found the lifeless body of Shreshta Tiwari. His body has been sent for a comprehensive autopsy examination.
