Speaking on the multi-city launch, Rattan Keswani, deputy managing director, The Lemon Tree Hotel Company and chairman, Carnation Hotels said, “We are excited at our fast paced growth in Gujarat. Being one of the most progressive and investor friendly states in India, we were keen to spread our wings here. Besides our owned hotel in Ahmedabad, the addition of these three properties in Gujarat opens new domestic locations for our existing customers offering them the same refreshing experience and close to home comfort that Lemon Tree is known for. Gujarat highlights a luxurious lifestyle of leisure, business and investments. It promises us new opportunities and a speedy growth. We thank our owner partners for entrusting us with their hotels and helping us enhance our portfolio mix.”

Present on the occasion were Anshuman Mohta, director and promoter, Hestia Hospitality and owner, Lemon Tree Hotel, Dahej; Shapath Parikh, director, Parikh Inn and owner, Lemon Tree Hotel, Vadodara and Arshad Patel, director, Associated Hotels and owner, Lemon Tree Premier; The Atrium, Ahmedabad.

Lemon Tree, which operates three brands – Lemon Tree Premier, Lemon Tree Hotels annd Red Fox Hotels – currently has 29 hotels in 18 cities in India. By 2019, it will own and operate over 8,000 rooms in 60 hotels across 30 major cities of India.

Lemon Tree Premier; The Atrium, Ahmedabad, is the first upscale hotel of the Lemon Tree group in Gujarat. Located on the bank of Sabarmati, it offers 63 rooms and suites. Whereas, Lemon Tree Hotel, Vadodara is Lemon Tree group’s second midscale property to open in Gujarat.

“We are delighted to partner with Lemon Tree Hotels in Ahmedabad. With their world class management by our side, we are certain that the hotel will become the most preferred destination amongst business and leisure travellers,” said Patel.

“Since we opened our doors, Lemon Tree Hotel, Vadodara has established itself as one of the top midscale hotels in the city. Conveniently located in the heart of the city, we offer 48 contemporary rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, a gym and three banqueting and meeting locations. This is Parikh Inn Group’s first venture in Western India, and we aim to build on our success in Gujarat in the future,” stated Parikh.

Lemon Tree Hotel, Dahej, is the first and only branded four-star hotel in the city. The 69-room hotel is 20 minutes away from the multi-product special economic zone (SEZ), making it ideal for the transient and long stay travellers. Mohta commented, “This is the maiden hotel venture of Hestia Hospitality. The hotel lays a special emphasis on environment. Due to its strategic location outside the main petrochemical SEZ, guests are able to unwind in green landscaped surroundings with an outdoor swimming pool. The cleaner air due to the green surroundings is very rejuvenating, especially after a long day at work. Not just for business people, due to the dearth of hotels in the area, we are also a family oriented hotel for those looking to get away for a break.”
