Jharkhand Cabinet Ministers List 2024: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Monday won the floor test and allotted portfolios to the ministers in his new Cabinet, keeping key departments such as Home, Personnel and Cabinet Secretariat for himself.
Former CM Champai Soren, who stepped down a day before Hemant Soren was sworn in as the CM for the fifth time, was allotted the Water Resources Department, besides Higher Education and Technical Education portfolios.
On Monday, a total of 12 ministers were inducted into the Hemant Soren Cabinet.

- Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren allotted Home and Personnel Department and Cabinet Secretariat.
- Former CM Champai Soren allotted Water Resources Department, Higher Education and Technical Education portfolios.
- JMM’s Badiyanath Ram assigned School Education and Excise departments.
- Congress’ Deepika Pandey Singh given portfolios of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Disaster Management.
- Congress’ Irfan Ansari allotted Rural Development, Panchayati Raj and Rural Works departments.
- JMM’s Dipak Birua assigned the SC, ST, OBC Welfare and Transport departments.
- JMM’s Bebi Devi allotted the Women and Child Development and Social Welfare portfolios.
- Congress’ Rameshwar Oraon assigned the Finance, Planning, Commercial Taxes and Parliamentary Affairs departments.
- RJD’s Satyanand Bhokta was given the charge of the Labour and Industries departments.
- Congress’ Banna Gupta assigned Health and Food, Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs departments.
- JMM MLA Hafizul Hasan got Minorities’ Welfare, Registration, Urban Development, Tourism, and Sports and Youth Affairs portfolios.
- JMM’s Mithilesh Kumar Thakur was given the Drinking Water and Sanitation departments.
