Ramdas Soren, Education Minister of Jharkhand has suffered a serious head injury after falling inside the bathroom at his residence on August 2. According to State Health Minister Irfan Ansari, Soren will be airlifted to Delhi for treatment after being diagnosed with a blood clot in his brain.
“Ramdas Soren ji’s health has suddenly deteriorated. He fell in the bathroom, which resulted in a severe brain injury and a blood clot,” Ansari said in a statement.
He was rushed to a hospital in Jamshedpur shortly after the incident. “Ramdas Soren ji’s condition suddenly worsened. Doctors have confirmed internal bleeding and a clot in the brain,” said Ansari.
Speaking to reporters later, he said preparations are underway to shift Soren to Delhi for advanced medical care. “We are keeping a close watch on his health. I’m in constant touch with the medical team,” he added.
