Hathway Cable & Datacom Ltd., pioneers in Broadband Internet technology in India, announced that they have deployed India?s fastest Internet Access over Cable service for residential and business customers.
The solution deployed is based on the Cisco Wideband Technology with Cisco uBR Platform and Cisco based IP infrastructure and is built on Cisco DOCSIS (Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification) standards. The new DOCSIS 2.0 capabilities take the platform to a new level and enabling cutting edge 100 Mbps services.

Hathway offers cable TV service in 125 cities and towns, operating a nation-wide cable based broadband service in 18 cities of India. Hathway has 322,000 broadband subscribers and intends to expands its portfolio to address new consumer demands around Video on demand and other value added services.
