Haryana elections 2024: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) announced its fourth list of candidates for the Haryana Assembly elections on Wednesday. The new list features 21 additional candidates, bringing the total number of declared candidatures to 61. Kavita Dalal, who will take on Olympics wrestler Vinesh Phogat in Julana, is a professional wrestler and has performed at WWE formerly.
The Haryana assembly election, which covers 90 seats, will take place on October 5, with the deadline for nominations set for September 12.

Raj Kaur Gill will run from the Ambala Cantonment seat, Sunil Bindal is contesting from Karnal, and Nishant Anand is set to represent the party in Gurugram.
The AAP’s first list of 20 candidates was announced on Monday, following the collapse of seat-sharing talks with the Congress. The Congress and AAP previously collaborated in the Delhi Lok Sabha elections but contested separately in Punjab. In Haryana, the Congress allocated one seat to the AAP in the general elections, though it was not successful. In the 2019 Haryana Assembly elections, the AAP contested 46 seats but did not win any.
