Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) chief and UN-designated terrorist Hafiz Saeed’s son, Talha Saeed, recently addressed a gathering in Kasur, Pakistan’s Punjab. From the podium, he praised Operation Bunyan-al-Marsoos and gave a call for jihad. The gathering took place in the presence of Pakistan’s state security and Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan. It also had posters of the Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, Asim Munir. The gathering was held on May 28 to commemorate Youm-e-Takbir, the day the country conducted its Chagai-I and Chagai-II nuclear tests in 1998.
“My dear brothers, today’s May 28, came with Bunyan-al-Marsoos,” Talha Saeed said while addressing the gathering in Kasur. Pakistan launched Operation Bunyan-al-Marsoos after India’s Operation Sindoor.
He then went on to quote a Quranic verse, which mentions the name of the operation, using it to justify Pakistan’s terror activities in the name of Allah’s words. Bunyan Marsoos is an Arabic phrase which translates into a “structure made of lead”.
The Quranic verse translates to: “Truly Allah loves those who fight in his cause in battle array, as if they were a solid cemented structure.”
“I’m thankful to Malik Ahmad Khan, speaker of the Punjab Assembly, Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan and Saifullah Khalid for their presence here on stage. I also salute the people of Pakistan on behalf of my father, Hafiz Saeed. Allah loves those who do jihad. Allah’s blessings and favours are with those who do jihad in his name,” he reportedly added.

This is the real face of #Pakistan. #UNSC-designated Pakistani terrorist Hafiz Saeed's son Talha Saeed praises Pakistan Army's Operation Bunyan al-Marsoos, says Allah loves those who do jihad, at an event attended by LeT commander Saifullah Kasuri and #Punjab… pic.twitter.com/2IOW8bjlmb
Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan is from Kasur and was seated in the front row of the gathering, which was also attended by LeT commander and Pahalgam terror attack mastermind Saifullah Kasuri, alias Khalid. A picture of the same has been doing the rounds on social media.
Hafiz Saeed’s son, who himself is a terrorist, further said that no terror attack took place in the Valley and tagged it as “drama”. He further claimed that his father, Hafiz Saeed, who co-founded LeT, is under the state’s protection, a report by CNN-News18 mentioned.
AIMIM Chief and Lok Sabha MP Asaduddin Owaisi had earlier slammed the name of Pakistan’s operation against India, saying they were misusing the Quran to further their agenda. “… Pakistan has named their new attack ‘Bunyan-al-Marsoos’. This is from a verse in the Quran Sharif in which Allah says that if you love Allah, then stand like a solid wall. But the Pakistan Army and establishment are such liars. In the same verse before, Allah says Why do you say such things which you don’t do?”
He added, “They are such liars that they don’t want to grasp the whole purpose of the Quran… Did they forget to stand like a wall when they were firing at Bengali Muslims in East Pakistan?…”
