Punjabi singer and actor Guru Randhawa is recovering in the hospital after sustaining serious injuries while performing a stunt for his upcoming film, Shaunki Sardar. The 32-year-old shared a health update with fans on Instagram on Sunday, posting a photo of himself lying in a hospital bed wearing a cervical collar.
In his caption, Randhawa reflected on the accident, writing, “My first stunt, my first injury, but my spirit remains unbroken. A memory from the sets of Shaunki Sardar. Action is tough, but I will work hard for my audience.”
Fans quickly flooded the comment section with messages of support and well wishes for the singer’s recovery. One user wrote, “Get well soon, champ,” while another added, “Get well soon, paahji.” A third fan expressed concern with the words, “I can’t see this post, love you paji.”
Randhawa’s accident comes as a surprise to many, given his previous work in the music industry. The singer, who made his name with hit tracks like Lahore, Patola, and High Rated Gabru, has been pushing boundaries recently with his acting career as well. In Shaunki Sardar, the singer explores new terrain, including action-packed stunts.
This is not the first time Randhawa has made headlines in recent months. Earlier this year, he hinted at potential issues with his music label, T-Series. In January, he responded to a fan’s accusations on his X handle, claiming that the label had allegedly blocked him from collaborating with other artists. He reassured his followers that he would resolve the matter soon.
In 2024, Randhawa collaborated with American rapper Rick Ross for the track Rich Life. He also made a spiritual visit to the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, where he took a sacred dip in the Triveni Sangam and reflected on the peace and positivity the experience brought him.
