Bharatiya Janata Party MP, Nishikant Dubey took to X expressing his concerns about “Pakistan mentality” on social media. Just a day after Operation Sindoor, Dubey urged the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to shut down “social media, YouTube users with a Pakistani mentality”. He further added in Hindi, “Pakistanis are turning the nonsense of our certain special individuals into an international issue.”

Aftermath of Operation Sindoor
Amid the rising geopolitical tensions and worsening ties between India and Pakistan, air travel has suffered gravely. Over twenty airports and three hundred flights have been shut down, cancelled in 24-hours. Airlines have stopped commercial aviation sectors till May 10 and it has become a rising concern for the tourism driven regions like Shimla, Sringar, Dharamshala and Leh.
Retaliatory efforts from Pakistan were expected and Indian forces have tactfully countered small-arms efforts at the artillery across the Line of Control (LoC), however, the Indian Army confirmed the death of a jawan. The Government of India is set to convene an All Party Meet at 11:00 AM today (May 8). Residents of border villages in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district began returning to their homes on Thursday morning, after fleeing in panic the previous day due to intense shelling by the Pakistan Army. As the world urges the countries to maintain peace, nationwide civil defence mock drills were conducted on May 7.
