The Noida Police booked Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav in connection with a rave party with snake venom on Friday. According to PTI, five people, all close aide of the popular social media star has been arrested in the case. The cops had raided a rave party that was being held at a banquet hall located in Noida Sector 51 on Thursday night. Nine snakes have also been rescued. The FIR has been registered under the relevant sections of the Wildlife (Protection) Act along with criminal conspiracy. The cops took the action on the complaint by the People for Animals. The police say that snake venom was being made available for those who attended the party.

A photo of Yadav with a snake in his hand has since gone viral. However, Yadav claims that the photo is from a six-month-old music video instead of the alleged rave party. He has also rejected all the charges against him.

Later, he issued a video statement on his official Instagram account. In the video clip, he said that all the charges against him are ‘fake.’ He said that he doesn’t have even ‘one per cent’ involvement in the case.

Maneka Gandhi, ex-Union Minister and founder of People for Animals, said that Elvish Yadav should be arrested immediately. She said that using snakes for supplying venom is a ‘grade 1 crime.’ She said that Yadav is used to supply snake venom in Noida and Gurugram.

Rebuffing her allegations, the popular YouTube star took to X (formerly Twitter) sand said, “Shocked To See Such People Sitting On Such Posts. Jis Hisab Se Ilzaam Lagaye Hai madam ne us hisab ki maafi bhi tayar rakhe.”
