Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday hit back at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for trolling him over a photograph in which he was seen playing the popular mobile game ‘Candy Crush’ during a party meeting.

“Candy Crush is my favourite. I have crossed decent level in the game,” Baghel said on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Baghel said the BJP has objections to everything he does be it riding a cart, playing gilli danda or holding the Chhattisgarh Olympics in the state.

“Earlier BJP had an objection that why do I ride a cart, why do I play gilli danda, why are Chhattisgarh Olympics being held in the state? In fact, they have an objection to my existence. But it’s the people of Chhattisgarh who will decide who stays and who doesn’t,” he said.

“Rest Chhattisgarh knows whom to bless,” he added, sharing the viral photograph of him playing the game.

Baghel’s photograph was shared by BJP IT cell head Amit Malviya last evening.

“Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel is relaxed, he knows that no matter how much he fights, his government will not come to power,” Malviya said on X.

“That’s why he thought he should focus on playing Candy Crush at a crucial meeting to select Congress candidates,” he added.
