Two prominent Delhi schools, Delhi Public School in RK Puram and GD Goenka Public School in Paschim Vihar, received bomb threats via email early Monday morning, prompting swift action from authorities. The Delhi Fire Department was alerted around 7 am, and the police were informed immediately. Both schools evacuated students and sent them home as a precautionary measure.

This incident follows a similar scare in May when around 150 schools in Delhi received bomb threat calls. Investigations traced those emails to Budapest, Hungary, where threats claimed explosives were planted on school premises. The situation led to widespread evacuations, frantic parents, and extensive searches, only for the threats to be declared hoaxes.

At the time, police suspected the involvement of a terror group in what appeared to be a “deeper conspiracy”.

Monday’s threats have once again raised concerns about school safety, with investigations underway to determine the source and credibility of the emails.

This is a developing story.
