A 30-year-old man has been arrested after four men allegedly opened fire outside a nightclub in Delhi’s Shahdara, police said on Sunday.

The incident came to light at around 12.59 am on Saturday, when police received a call reporting gunfire outside Kanch Club in the Jhilmil Industrial Area, PTI reported.

A team from Seemapuri police station arrived at the scene and found two live cartridges and eight empty shells on the road outside the club, a senior officer said. The officer also noted that there were two bullet marks on the club’s door.

According to the complaint filed by the club’s bouncer, four men arrived at the club around 11,45 pm on Friday, and two of them fired shots at him. The suspects then fled towards Vivek Vihar, the official said.

An FIR was registered based on the complaint, resulting in the arrest of a man named Shahrukh. Two other suspects have been identified, and efforts are ongoing to apprehend them, the officer added.
