The bomb scare comes just days after the Pahalgam terror attack after security was beefed up in crowded places in the capital. 26 people, majority of which who were tourists, lost their lives at the hand of this act of terrorism. While there have been no concrete sources uncovered, authorities have reached the location promptly.

The Pahalgam terror attack also placed the Indus water treaty under the lens due to the rising India-Pak tensions. It hasn’t just stopped at sending Pakistani nationals back, Instagram accounts of public figures like Hania Amir have been banned in India kick-starting a cyber war. Simultaneously, the airspace dispute continues as a means of establishing infrastructural dominance expressing hostility in the sitiuation.
