Mohan Babu has recently been at the center of multiple controversies, including a family dispute with his son, Manchu Manoj. Now, he is facing legal issues regarding his alleged involvement in the death of actress Soundarya. She passed away in a plane crash on April 17, 2004, at the age of 31, She was en route to Karimnagar for a political campaign when the crash occurred, according to media reports.

The accident also claimed the life of her brother. Adding to the tragedy, it was reported that she was pregnant at the time, and her family was devastated by their inability to recover her remains.

According to a report by News18 Kannada, it is claimed that Soundarya’s death was not an accident but rather a planned murder. This theory stems from an alleged property dispute involving Mohan Babu. The complaint alleges that Soundarya and her brother, Amarnath, refused to sell a six-acre plot of land to the veteran actor, which caused a rift between them. The dispute is said to have led to the planning of her murder.

The report further states that the complainant has accused Mohan Babu of pressuring the siblings to sell the land, and following the plane crash, he allegedly took illegal possession of it. The cause of the crash has never been confirmed.

The complainant, identified as Chittimallu, has filed complaints with the Khammam ACP and the Khammam District Officer, requesting the government to take control of the land. The appeal suggested using the land for orphanages, police personnel, military families, or media professionals.

Additionally, the complaint highlighted ongoing disputes within the Manchu family and demanded justice for Manchu Manoj, as well as the seizure of a six-acre guesthouse in Jalpalli. The complainant expressed concerns for their safety due to Mohan Babu’s influence and has requested police protection.
