Clashes broke out in Madhya Pardesh‘s Mhow town in a rally celebrating India’s win at the ICC Championship Trophy 2025. The rally was passing through the Jama Masjid when some unidentified individuals from the area allegedly started pelting stones at them.

This led to massive clashed between the group, after which many left their vehicles on the spot and fled from the area.

According to multiple media reports, many of these vehicles were vandalised and two were also set on fire. Two of the local shops were also set on fire.

After the violence, a large number of police officers from both rural and city areas were deployed on the scene to bring the situation under control.

Army personnel were already present in in Mhow as there is an army base there. So, military units are present there.

Indore collector Ashish Singh said that the situation was brought under control soon after. Deputy inspector general of police Nimish Agarwal told PTI that when the rally, celebrating India’s win, was taken out in Mhow, some people ended up in an altercation that later escalated into violence. Locals said that the clashes led to panic in several
