Delhi Election 2025, BJP Releases Manifesto: The BJP placed women at the core of its plans for Delhi as it unveiled its manifesto for the upcoming elections, the party announced on Friday. The manifesto promises financial support for pregnant women, including Rs 21,000 in cash assistance, six nutritional kits, Rs 5,000 for the first child, and Rs 6,000 for the second child.

BJP President J.P. Nadda pledged that, if the party comes to power in Delhi, it will implement the Ayushman Bharat health scheme in its very first cabinet meeting. The AAP government has previously resisted the scheme, claiming its health programs are superior.

Nadda also proposed a pension scheme for senior citizens, offering Rs 2,000–2,500 per month for those aged 60-70, and Rs 3,000 for those above 70. Additionally, he promised to establish Atal Canteens in every slum, providing full meals for just Rs 5.

Criticising the AAP government, Nadda, who also serves as Union Health Minister, labeled AAP’s Mohalla Clinics as “dens of corruption and inefficiency.”
