Bihar Electoral Roll 2025, Polling Booth Guide: The people of Bihar will exercise their franchise on November 6, during the first phase of Bihar elections 2025. The campaigning for the polls is in its final phase as the silence period will begin 48 hours before the voting. The state will vote in two phases – Nov 6 and Nov 11, and the results will be declared on Nov 11.
This time, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has ensured to have not more than 1200 voters at a polling booth. The step has been taken to ensure smooth conduct of the election. Hence, the ECI has set up 90,712 polling booths in the state.
There are chances that many voters who voted on a particular booth the last time, may have a new booth assigned. Similarly, the first time voters will also have to be informed about their booth.
How to know your polling booth?
The voters can approach their booth level officers (BLOs) to know about their booths. Besides this, they https://voters.eci.gov.in/ portal of the ECI, and fill in details like name, relative’s name, EPIC (voter) ID card number, and mobile number – and this will allow the portal to furnish their details like assembly name, its number, and polling booth.
Now, the district election officers have taken another initiative to help people locate their polling booths – through QR codes.
These codes were displayed across the Chhath festival ghats, and have been put up at various locations. The QRs will me made available outside each polling booth, to help voters known the location of their polling station.
The QR will direct voters to a link where they can enter their mobile number or EPIC details to get the location of the polling booth.
