A disturbing incident unfolded early Saturday morning at Habibganj Railway Station when Bhopal Government Railway Police (GRP) Head Constable Nazar Daulat Khan was assaulted by a group of youths after he asked them to leave the premises for drinking alcohol in a parked car.

Khan, who was patrolling the station at around 2 a.m., noticed a group of young men consuming alcohol inside a vehicle. Concerned about the violation of public space regulations, Khan approached the group and asked them to leave the station premises.

However, the situation quickly turned hostile when the youths reportedly saw Khan’s Muslim name and began abusing him. According to eyewitnesses, the confrontation escalated, and the group physically attacked Khan, tearing off his uniform in the process. Two other GRP officers who were on duty at the time, Sandeep and Kamal, rushed to intervene but were unsuccessful in preventing the assault.

A video of the incident, which later went viral, shows a few men punching the officer inside his official vehicle while other bystanders attempted to break up the altercation. After the violent encounter, Khan was seen walking away with his uniform visibly torn.
