In a bold response to the Supreme Court hint at reviving Ram Janambhoomi-Babri Masjid case, Uma Bharti one of the key suspects in the case said that she was proud to be part of the Ayodhya movement. The Supreme Court on Monday hinted at reviving the criminal conspiracy charges and possibility of a joint trial in the case relating to the demolition of the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid structure against the BJP top brass, including L.K. Advani. The court cryptically commented that it would not accept any discharge on technical grounds and may ask the CBI to file a supplementary charge sheet on this.

Besides Advani, other accused in the case include Murli Manohar Joshi, Uma Bharti, Giriraj Kishore, Vishnu Hari Dalmia, Vinay Katiyar and Sadhvi Ritambara.
