Mumbai Police have registered a case following a threat call made to actor Shah Rukh Khan on Thursday. This incident comes shortly after Salman Khan received a death threat from an individual claiming to be the brother of imprisoned gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
Authorities indicated that the message, sent from an unidentified number, appeared to be a hoax. “We are in the process of registering a case, and a team has been assigned to track down the suspect,” said an officer. Mumbai Police team has reportedly traced the call to Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Teams of the Mumbai Police have since left for Chhattisgarh and investigation is on, news agency ANI reported.
In a related incident last month, Salman Khan was threatened with death if he did not pay Rs 2 crore, leading to the arrest of a Bandra resident.
