In a three-hour visit to Prayagraj, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be launching several projects in the city tomorrow, December 13, The Indian Express reported.
The Prime Minister will be inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of projects worth about Rs 7,000 crore. Besides this, he will also perform a puja at the Sangam.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to arrive in Prayagraj around 11 am on December 13. He will travel from Arail Ghat to Quila Ghat aboard a hybrid electric Catamaran named after Nishadraj, which he inaugurated earlier this year in Varanasi.
What projects will the PM inaugurate?
Most of the projects being inaugurated by PM Modi are linked to road and corridor projects. A special focus is on prominent sites including Shringverpur Dham, which finds a mention in the Ramayana as the “Kingdom of Nishadraj, king of fishermen”.
The virtual inauguration of the Shringverpur Dham corridor will ensure that the pilgrims visiting the Sangam can also visit Shringverpur with ease and travel in the Vessel named after Nishadraj.
The Prime Minister will inaugurate a range of projects, including those related to railways, airports, irrigation, road development, and the beautification of ghats. Additionally, he will launch the “Kumbh Sahayak Chatbot.”
The Prime Minister will inaugurate several key road projects, including prominent corridors such as the Shringverpur Dham Corridor valued at Rs 135 crore, the Bharadwaj Ashram Corridor at Rs 13 crore, the Akshayavat Corridor at Rs 18 crore, and the Hanuman Mandir Corridor at Rs 40 crore. Additionally, he will unveil the development of seven bathing ghats, completed at a cost of Rs 240 crore.
