Jaya Verma Sinha, CRB and CEO of the Railway Board of the Indian Railways, along with other railway officials, recently made an inspection round of the New Daily Railway Station where she took cognizance of the arrangements that were made to manage the crowd during the ongoing summer rush. She was seen interacting with the passengers and asking them about their travel experience via the station.

Sinha also inspected the functioning of CCTV cameras and drinking water facilities. According to a post shared by the Ministry of Railways on social media platform X, Sinha directed the officials to be diligent and proactive in providing all the required assistance to the passengers, making sure they are safe and have a comfortable journey.

The Northern Railway has put special focus on efficient crowd management, with Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel utilizing mega mikes to effectively regulate crowds.

Operational train information boards provide up-to-date information for passengers. In the past, additional staff from commercial, RPF, Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF), and Government Railway Police (GRP) have been deployed at railway stations to enhance passenger assistance. The officials have also taken repeated note of how efficiently the escalators are running to ensure seamless transit within the stations.
