Navi Mumbai Metro Line 1, connecting Belapur to Pendhar, will operate under a revised timetable starting January 20 to better serve commuters’ needs. The updated schedule introduces more frequent services during peak hours and adjusted timings for non-peak periods.
New Operational Hours and Frequency
As per the new timetable, Metro operations will commence at 6 am from both Belapur and Pendhar stations. During peak hours, trains will run every 10 minutes to accommodate the rising passenger demand. Peak-hour services from Belapur are scheduled between 7:30 am and 10 am, and 5:30 pm and 8 pm. From Pendhar, they will run between 7 am and 9:30 am, and 5 pm and 7:30 pm. Outside these hours, trains will be available every 15 minutes.
The last train from Belapur will depart at 10 pm, while the final service from Pendhar will leave at 9:45 pm, ensuring extended coverage for late-hour travelers.
Launched on November 17, 2023, the first phase of the Navi Mumbai Metro Rail Project has received widespread appreciation for improving connectivity to key areas such as CBD Belapur, the Taloja Industrial Area, and several CIDCO housing complexes.
The revised timetable reflects CIDCO’s commitment to enhancing public transportation in Navi Mumbai. By offering additional services during peak hours, the Metro aims to provide greater convenience and address the needs of a growing commuter base.
