CCRS ensures safety standards ahead of commercial launch

The inspection involved a thorough assessment of the tunnel section under the river, encompassing aspects such as tracks, ventilation, and lighting systems.

Upon reaching Esplanade, the CCRS further examined entry and exit gates, as well as the passenger interchange point between the East-West and North-South lines, along with other amenities. It was reiterated that CCRS approval is a prerequisite for the commissioning and commencement of commercial services on this stretch.
