Attention Bengaluru commuters! The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) on Saturday (March 30) announced that the Bannerghatta main road will be closed from MICO signal up to Anepalya Junction for a period of one year from April 1 onwards.
The statement issued by BMRCL also highlighted traffic diversions in view of the temporary closure.
Bengaluru traffic diversion
Vehicles heading towards Anepalya Junction from Bannerghatta Main Road will be rerouted to take a right turn at the MICO signal, then proceed to the Adugodi signal via the BOSCH link road before making a left turn.
However, there will be no change for traffic moving towards Dairy Circle from Anepalya Junction. Commuters traveling from Dairy Circle towards Shanthinagar are advised to turn left at the 7th Main Road of Wilson Garden.
“Traffic from Dairy Circle towards Shanthinagar to take left at 7th Main Road of Wilson Garden. Public are requested to make note of the above changes and cooperate in this regard,” the BMRCL statement added.
