NTPC Q1 Results: NTPC Ltd. has announced robust financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2025, demonstrating a significant double-digit growth in both income and profit. NTPC’s total installed capacity increased by 3,024 megawatts to reach 76,048 MW by the end of June 2024. The company’s gross generation of power grew by 10.56% to 97.9 billion units.

For the April-June 2024 quarter, NTPC’s consolidated revenue surged by 12.6% to Rs 48,521 crore, up from Rs 43,075 crore in the same period last year. Revenue from thermal power generation rose 14.1% to Rs 43,660.54 crore.

-EBITDA Margin: 28.9%, compared to 29.8% a year ago

Coal production from captive mines for commercial use rose by 54.49% to 9.64 million metric tonnes. The average tariff for power generation also improved from Rs 4.53 to Rs 4.68 per unit.
