Acronis, a global cybersecurity and data protection play, is keen about strengthening its India business. The focus is on the company’s strong growth in India and its advancements in providing cybersecurity solutions tailored to address AI-driven threats. Speaking to Financial Express Online, Katya Ivanova, Chief Sales Officer at Acronis said, “when it comes to growth, digitalization is a huge factor and people will continue moving to cloud. The second important point is obviously the amount of data, so it continuously grows and we see that data centers are growing rapidly and we actually project that data centers will be growing at least 48% by 2030, so the data centers will be growing and the AI itself will be growing almost 5.5 times. So it’s a very huge motivation for different companies to start looking at different digital applications when it comes to Acronis specifically and India.”
According to her, India has become a priority market for Acronis, where the company’s solutions empower local organizations with tools to manage and protect their data effectively in an increasingly complex environment.
She explained that “obviously India is very heavy on manufacturing and we were very successful in manufacturing for years and in different countries we have a lot of global brand names which are very large and for us the most important factor is to again give the protection to our customers either on a premise or in cloud. So we are not really pushing customers to go to the cloud, we help them to move to the cloud if this is what they want. We also have a solution that will provide them for protection.”
By addressing the unique needs of Indian service providers and leveraging advanced AI-driven solutions, Acronis aims to helps businesses across sectors protect their digital infrastructure.
