The recently listed Solar PV module manufacturer, Vikram Solar, has bagged a 336 MW solar module order from L&T Construction. In an exchange filing, the company said that it will supply the PV modules to L&T Construction’s Khavda project in Gujarat.
Further, Vikram Solar said that it will supply its high-efficiency N-type Hypersol G12R modules, which are known for improved bifaciality in hot conditions and a slow YoY degradation of 0.4%.
Vikram Solar has received multiple orders for PV modules for the Khavada Renewable Energy Park. Besides L&T, the company has received orders from other renewable energy companies. Earlier in May this year, Vikram Solar bagged a massive order for 326 MW of PV modules from Gujarat Industries Power Company.
Gyanesh Chaudhary, Chairman & Managing Director of Vikram Solar, said in a statement that the region holds immense potential for solar energy, and this project will play a pivotal role in harnessing that opportunity.
“Each project we deliver is a testament to the trust placed in Vikram Solar’s technology, performance, and commitment to excellence,” Chaudhary said.
Vikram Solar’s manufacturing capacity
Incorporated in 2003, Vikram Solar has become one of the leading solar PV module manufacturers in the country. Headquartered in Kolkata, the company has expanded its presence to 39 countries.
Vikram Solar has reached a cumulative production capacity of 4.5 GW. Till now, the company has shipped 7.12 GW capacity modules to its customers. It has expanded its dealership network throughout the country with 83 authorised distributors.

The Vikram Solar share gained 5.4 per cent intra-day after receiving the order from L&T Construction. The company was listed on stock exchanges on August 26 at Rs 340, a 2.4 per cent premium over the IPO. It had launched the Initial Public Offering (IPO) earlier in August. The company’s IPO size was Rs 2,079 crore, which included Rs 1,500 crore of fresh issue.
