Steel Strips Wheels on Tuesday announced that it has successfully secured a maiden entry as a supplier of aluminium wheels to one of the passenger car manufacturers in India. “This milestone is a testament to our unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation and delivering unparalleled value to our customers,” the company said in a regulatory filing.
It further added that the order reaffirms the company’s strong rapport with its customers. “We’re honored to be recognized by the OEM as a strategic partner for supply of aluminium wheels besides Steel Wheels,” it said.
Going forward, the company said that it will continue to remain focused on the road ahead and are committed to leveraging this opportunity to drive innovation, deepen customer relationships, and solidify its position as a leader in the market.
Earlier in January, the company reported net sales at Rs 1,110.30 crore during December 2023, up 18.31 per cent from Rs 938.44 crore in December 2022. Quarterly net profit was at Rs 59.54 crore in December 2023, up 36.03 per cent from Rs 43.77 crore in December 2022.
