PNC Infratech has emerged as the lowest bidder for a major infrastructure project in Bihar to construct a high-level bridge and approach road on the Hathouri–Atrar–Bavangama–Aurai Road.
The project, awarded by the Bihar State Road Development Corporation (BSRDC), is valued at Rs 495.54 crore, exclusive of GST. Financial bids for the contract were opened on September 4, 2025.
The scope of work includes the construction of a bridge and approach road stretching across 21.3 km. The contract will be executed on the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) mode within a period of 1,095 days, or roughly three years.
Lowest bidder in Bihar bridge tender
Following the announcement, the company stated that its trading window for designated employees, their relatives and insiders will remain closed for 48 hours, in line with SEBI’s insider trading regulations.
The company said in its filing, “PNC Infratech emerged as the Lowest (L1) bidder in a tender floated by BSRDC for construction of High Level Bridge and Approach Road on Hathouri-Atrar-Bavangama-Aurai Road in Bihar.”
In the regulatory filing, PNC also clarified that the order does not involve any promoter or group company interests. The company also confirmed that the contract does not fall under related-party transactions.
