NCC Limited on Tuesday said that it has received three orders worth Rs 4205.94 crore (excluding GST) in the month of September 2023, the company said in a regulatory filing. “Out of them, one order of Rs 819.20 crore is related to water division, another order of Rs 173.19 crore is related to electrical division and third order of Rs 3213.55 crore is related to transportation division,” it said.
Further, the order valuing Rs 3213.55 crore is the share of NCC, which is 51 per cent out of Rs 6301.08 crore order received by J Kumar- NCC joint venture from Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation.
These orders, the company said, are received from state and central government agencies and do not include any internal orders.
Earlier in August, NCC had posted its results for the first quarter of FY24. It had recorded a 33.9 per cent jump in its consolidated net profit to Rs 173.54 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2023, on the back of higher execution during the quarter. Revenue from operations jumped 31.9 per cent to Rs 4,380.39 crore during the quarter. During 2022-23, NCC had received order inflows of about Rs 26,000 crore on the back of higher outlay by the government under the National Infrastructure Pipeline (NIP). NCC had ended 2022-23 with an order book of Rs 50,244 crore.
