NBCC has received work orders worth Rs 345 crore from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi. In an exchange filing, the company stated that it has secured two separate orders, one worth Rs 332 crore and another worth Rs 12 crore, from the well-known engineering institute.
NBCC order details
NBCC said in the exchange filing that the Rs 333 crore order pertains to planning, design and development for the construction of academic blocks, 2 BHK & 3 BHK housing units, a student activity centre (including a sports complex), and other related works in IIT Mandi.
Furthermore, the second order pertains to day-to-day and annual maintenance work, including manpower and materials, for a period of one year, commencing on January 1, 2026. The works include housekeeping, horticulture, electrical, plumbing, CCTV camera and networking System, solar System and other related civil works.
This is the second work order the company has bagged in less than a week. Earlier on December 11, NBCC received a Rs 289 crore work order for various civil construction work at the Nalco office and the Nalco township.
NBCC Q2 result
NBCC reported a 12 per cent YoY profit growth in the September quarter of FY26. The company posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 204 crore in Q2 FY26, compared to Rs 181 crore in Q2 FY25.
The company’s revenue also grew to Rs 2,910 crore in Q2 FY26, from Rs 2,445 crore in the same quarter of the corresponding year.
NBCC share price
NBCC’s stock opened at Rs 114.82 on Tuesday and closed at Rs 111.25, 3.59 per cent lower in the intra-day trade.
