KEC International, a global infrastructure EPC company under the RPG Group, has secured new orders worth Rs 3,243 crore in its Transmission and Distribution (T&D) business. The fresh contracts include 400 kV transmission lines in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the supply of towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas.

Orders cross Rs 11,700 crore YTD

With these new contracts, the company’s year-to-date (YTD) order intake has reached around Rs 11,700 crore. Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International, said this is the company’s largest ever EPC order till date. “This order has further strengthened our presence in the Middle East and substantially expanded our international T&D order book. The Middle East region continues to be a strategic growth driver for us, as reflected in this order and those secured earlier this year,” he said.

Kejriwal added that these projects will play a key role in driving the company’s targeted growth in the coming quarters.

KEC: Recent order wins worth Rs 1,402 crore

Earlier in August, the company received orders worth Rs 1,402 crore across its key business verticals.

In the T&D segment, KEC won a 765 kV transmission line project from a marquee private player in India, along with supply orders for towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas. In the civil business, it received a repeat order for a high-rise residential project from a leading real estate developer in Northern India. The cables and conductors division also secured fresh contracts for supplying various types of cables and conductors in both domestic and overseas markets.

KEC International share performance

The share price of KEC International has seen a significant decline, falling 27.94% so far this year. However, the stock has gained 4.90% in the past month.

KEC International operates across power transmission and distribution, civil, transportation, renewables, oil and gas pipelines, and cables and conductors. The company also undertakes EPC projects and supplies towers and cables globally.
