Deepinder Goyal, CEO of Eternal, which operates food delivery platform Zomato and quick-commerce arm Blinkit, on Friday, announced a $25 million personal investment into his independent venture, Continue Research. The venture, which focuses on advancing studies in human health and longevity, will use the funds to expand its operations and support researchers globally.

Goyal announced the investment through a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), explaining that Continue Research was launched two years ago. He described the initiative as an effort to explore the fundamental aspects of human aging and biology, with a vision to extend the period of healthy human function.

“Today, we are expanding Continue Research to include a $25 million fund (entirely personally backed) to support researchers across the world who dare to ask simpler questions than anyone else,” Goyal said in his post.

He added that the venture’s goal is to “extend healthy human function long enough that humans stop making short-term decisions,” encouraging a long-term perspective in society.

Goyal explicitly clarified that Continue Research operates independently and is not a part of Eternal’s business portfolio. The investment is described as a personal commitment from Goyal to foster global research into sustainable health innovation and human longevity.
