Bharti Airtel posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 6,791.7 crore in Q2FY26, marking an increase of 89% year-on-year (YoY) from Rs 3,593.2 crore in Q2FY25.
Revenue rose 25.73% to Rs 52,145.4 crore in Q2FY26, compared to Rs 41,473.3 crore in the same period last year.
Key highlights from Bharti Airtel’s Q2FY26
On a sequential basis, profit increased 14.19% from Rs 5,947.9 crore in Q1FY26, while revenue grew 5.42% from Rs 49,462.6 crore.
Bharti Airtel’s India revenue rose by 22.6% year-on-year to Rs 38,690 crore. Mobile average revenue per user (ARPU) of Bharti Airtel in India increased by about 10 per cent to Rs 256 during the quarter compared to Rs 233 in the same period a year ago.
Company’s EBITDA stoodat Rs 29,919 crore with EBITDA margin at 57.4%. India business EBITDA came at Rs 23,204 crore and EBITDA margin at 60.0%.
Overall customer base stands at approximately 624 million across 15 countries. India customer base stands at approximately 450 million.
Gopal Vittal, Vice-Chairman & MD of Bharti Airtel said, “India Mobile business delivered 2.6% revenue growth, adding 5.1 million smartphone customers, maintaining an industry-leading ARPU of Rs 256 led by continued premiumization of portfolio and a steadfast focus on quality customers. The Postpaid segment recorded one of the highest quarterly net additions of ~1 Mn. Airtel Business reported strong results with 4.3% sequential revenue growth. We saw multiple deal wins across Connectivity, IOT and security business.”
