The day 1 box office collection of Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao starrer Bareilly Ki Barfi is out. The day 1 collection of Bareilly Ki Barfi stands at Rs 2.42 crore. Taking to Twitter, famous movie critic and biz analyst wrote, “#BareillyKiBarfi Fri ₹ 2.42 cr. India biz… Fared better in North India.” The movie is directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. The movie “Bareilly Ki Barfi” marks the debut of Juno Chopra as a producer. Juno, the grandson of filmmaker B R Chopra, is credited as the creative producer on the film, starring Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao. The trailer of the film, which is slated to release on August 18, was released on July 19.

“We are really very excited to take the Chopra lineage further as a creative producer in ‘Bareilly ki Barfi’. It has indeed been a great journey to shoot with such an amazing team,” Juno said. He has earlier worked on films like “Kabhi Khushi Gham” and “Kal Ho Naa Ho” as an assistant director besides working as the associate producer on his father Ravi Chopra’s “Bhootnath” and “Bhootnath Returns”.

According to IMDB, “Set in the small-town of Bareilly, Bitti is a free-spirited young girl who lives life on her own terms and refuses to be pressured into getting married.
