Asian Paints reported a massive 46.79 per cent YoY profit growth in the second quarter of the financial year 2025-26. The largest paintmaker in the country posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 1,018 crore in Q2 FY26. The company’s consolidated net profit in Q2 FY25 was Rs 693 crore. 

Furthermore, Asian Paints reported a 6.3 per cent YoY revenue growth in the quarter. The company’s consolidated revenue stood at Rs 8,513 crore in Q2 FY26, compared to Rs 8,003 crore in the consolidated quarter of the last fiscal year. 

“We saw an improvement in our domestic decorative business with a double-digit volume growth of 10.9% and a 6% increase in value, despite the challenges posed by an extensive and prolonged monsoon,” said Amit Syngle, Managing Director & CEO of Asian Paints. 

Syngle added that the growth was driven by demand across both urban and rural areas, aided by various regional activations and intensive marketing /brand-building measures.

Asian Paints Q2 sales 

Asian Paints’ decorative business posted a 10.9 per cent volume growth and a revenue growth of 6 per cent in the second quarter. The company stated that factors such as improved consumer sentiment, an early festive season, and registered broad-based growth across urban and rural centres contributed to the segment’s growth. 

However, its home decor business saw a decline as sales of the bath fittings business fell by 4.7 per cent to Rs 79.3 crore. Similarly, the kitchen business declined by 7.2 per cent to Rs 97.7 crore.

Asian Paints’ white teak and weatherseal products sales decreased by 15.2 per cent to Rs 26.4 crore in the second quarter. The company said that its industrial segments had steady double-digit growth. Its international sales increased by 9.9 per cent annually to Rs 846.0 crore in the quarter under review.
