Founded in 2015, it claims it touched the lives of approximately 9 crore Indians with its affordable and convenient services. The company has a fleet of around 1.4 crore captains, including male and female riders, and has emerged as a platform empowering gig workers by enhancing accessibility and contributing to the nation’s progress through innovative mobility solutions.

Pavan Guntupalli, Co-Founder, Rapido said, “Reaching the milestone of 100 crore rides marks an extraordinary moment in Rapido’s journey. Today, as we celebrate this milestone, we’re filled with gratitude for the trust our customers and partners have placed in us. This milestone not only represents the countless lives touched and communities empowered but also underscores our commitment to fostering a ‘Viksit Bharat’, where every individual has the opportunity to thrive.”

While achieving this milestone, Rapido had introduced innovative auto and cab SaaS platforms. These solutions enable auto and cab drivers to directly benefit from their earnings. This step Rapido ensures a larger share of revenue goes directly into the pockets of its captains. This pioneering approach not only boosts their income but also fosters a sense of ownership and entrepreneurship, empowering them to take control of their financial futures.
