The United States Air Force is expected to introduce a deal for operational-level quantum computing software, stated Cointelegraph. This is believed to create a new era in US military logistics.
It is beloved that Purdue spinout Quantum Research Science (QRS) is the contract recipient, earning $2.5 million. This company can help to build and support quantum computing software capable of handling the Air Force’s global logistics.
“At best, a supply chain forecast is an educated guess. At worst, it is a wild guess,” Ethan Krimins, CEO, QRS, explained.
With insights from QRS’ website, the company has collaborated with Quantinuum, formerly Honeywell. They are believed to run the former’s software on the latter’s hardware, concluded Cointelegraph.
