According to an official release, Shemaroo Entertainment Limited, a media and entertainment conglomerate, introduces ShemarooVerse, a public metaverse.
“With the launch of ShemarooVerse, a digital universe we plan to collaborate entertainment with Web3.0 technology,” Arghya Chakravarty, COO, Shemaroo Entertainment, explained.
ShemarooVerse emerges as a digital universe where entertainment integrates with Web3.0 and AI. It is believed that this collaboration can provide a content library, interactive games, Bollywood avatars, live concerts and events in VR cinema, wellness zone, devotional zone, workspaces, social spaces and storefronts, among others.
“Users can expect a new experience as entertainment meets the blockchain. This is expected to help in the evolution of Indian entertainment on the blockchain,” Arpit Sharma, MD India, Asia, and Middle East, NEAR Foundation, concluded.
