Perfios unveils gen AI stack; aims to transform financial services with AI-first approach

Perfios.ai, an Indian B2B SaaS TechFin company, has launched its next-generation Generative AI (Gen AI) Powered Intelligence Stack aimed at transforming the way banks, insurers and financial service providers operate, according to an official press release. 

The company claims this AI-first approach will enable financial institutions to build and deploy smarter, faster and more efficient AI products across their operations.

Four new AI products unveiled

As part of this launch, Perfios introduced four key AI-powered solutions:

Compass–  is an AI-powered enterprise knowledge platform using Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) technology that enables employees to query internal documents across all departments through natural language.

Data Intelligence Bridge– a smart document digitisation and orchestration platform combines proprietary deep learning models, SLMs, LLMs, and Vision Language Models to extract and classify data from diverse documents. 

This multi-modal engine transforms unstructured document processing into streamlined, end-to-end digital journeys.

Prism– is an API-based gateway that integrates GenAI capabilities into Perfios’ enterprise products and workflows, providing a unified and secure interface for interacting with various LLMs.

Medical Insurance Claim Adjudication Solution– an AI suite of SLMs that leverage Perfios proprietary knowledge to detect fraud and validate health insurance claims efficiently

These products aim to demonstrate how Perfios plans to apply AI in real-world banking and insurance scenarios from automating data extraction to enabling fraud detection in claims.

The productivity boost

Perfios claims its Gen AI Stack can triple the efficiency of traditional, paperwork-heavy financial systems. Early use within the company has already shown a 40% increase in productivity. The AI stack features self-learning systems that adapt with time and are backed by over 30 data scientists, engineers and domain experts.

Sumit Nigam, CTO of Perfios, described the AI stack as a game-changer.  “Imagine a single, intelligent partner at every desk, ready to respond, reason, and recommend,” he said. From loan approvals to customer service, and from insurance claims to trade finance, Nigam said the Gen AI Stack will provide instant, smart support to every function.

Rather than just adding AI products to old processes, Perfios claims to have rethought the entire system by placing intelligence at the point of decision-making. The goal is to move from slow, reactive operations to fast, proactive decision-making. The stack uses LLMs trained specifically for the banking and insurance sectors, with human oversight where needed.
