Mark Zuckerberg, CEO, Meta, unveiled Meta AI, his firm’s new artificial intelligence (AI)-powered assistant. It is believed that the new version will integrate with Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and, eventually, the company’s mixed-reality devices, stated Cointelegraph.

Sources revealed that at the Meta Connect event on September 27, 2023, Zuckerberg mentioned that Meta AI is powered by Llama 2, its large language model,and has been built in collaboration with Microsoft Bing. The new feature is expected to allow users access to real-time information from the internet.

It is believed that “Meta AI is your basic assistant that you can talk to like a person,”Zuckerberg explained.

Furthemore, Zuckerberg mentioned that Meta’s chatbots aren’t just intended to transmit helpful information will also be conversational and entertaining, Cointelegraph concluded.
