According to an official release, the 109th Indian Science Congress hosted by Lovely Professional University (LPU), announced a series of diverse conferences and sessions under the theme ‘The Global Perspective on Science and Technology for a Sustainable Future’. This event is expected to bring together Nobel laureates, scientists, researchers, academicians, experts, innovators, and policymakers from around the world to engage in discussions and develop strategies for introducing sustainable technology across various fields.
The Indian Science Congress is believed to feature an line-up of conferences and sessions, each focusing on different themes that emphasise the role of science and technology in shaping a sustainable world.
“With this event, we aim to introduce technology as the future and help people understand the importance of technology. It can also contribute to knowledge sharing and finding new insights on sustainable development of technology,” Aman Mittal, vice president , LPU, explained.
Furthermore, the event is expected to feature a science exhibition called ‘Explorica’, which will showcase prominent developments, major achievements, and significant contributions of Indian Science and Technology to society.
