Dfinity Foundation, a research and development firm, collaborated with SingularityNET, an artificial intelligence (AI)-focused blockchain firm. This collaboration is expected to improve the infrastructure of decentralised AI and allow decentralised applications (DApps) on the Internet Computer blockchain to access large language models (LLMs), stated Cointelegraph.
It is believed with the collaboration, blockchain developers who want to connect with AI can use the ICP network. The announcement is expected to mention that decentralised AI models on ICP are run within smart contracts. This eventually is believed to make the training parameters of the LLMs tamper-proof and open source, Cointelegraph added.
“Given this context, it’s extremely important that we move rapidly toward making the most advanced AI systems on the planet available via decentralized networks, not owned or controlled by any elite group, Big Tech company or government agency,” Ben Goertzel, CEO, SingularityNET, explained.
Furthermore, Williams mentioned that the initiative with SingularityNET can further advance their vision for decentralised AI, Cointelegraph concluded.
