Notably, CUMI’s lightweight ceramic ballistic protection materials, comprising reaction-bonded silicon carbide, high purity alumina, and zirconia-toughened alumina, adhere to rigorous global standards such as the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) ‘Level IV’ and STANAG Level 3. Designed for optimal ergonomics, these materials can be customized into various sizes and shapes, catering to the needs of bulletproof vests and armoured vehicles.
