Zillion, a multi-brand consumer loyalty platform, has entered into a partnership with payments service provider PayU to allow customers to earn and redeem Zillion Coins across PayU’s merchant ecosystem.
The integration means that users making qualifying purchases on PayU’s checkout platform will automatically accumulate Zillion Coins—reward points that can later be used for discounts or benefits across Zillion’s partner brands. Customers will also be able to redeem these coins directly at checkout, turning loyalty rewards into instant savings.
The move broadens the reach of both companies: for Zillion, it increases the number of points-earning and redemption opportunities across more consumer touchpoints; for PayU, it offers merchants a loyalty-linked incentive program that could improve customer retention and transaction volumes.
Zillion’s existing partner base spans categories such as retail, fuel, healthcare, travel, and entertainment. The company stated it will continue adding partners to increase the utility of its rewards program.
Industry watchers see such integrations as part of a larger trend where payments and loyalty programs increasingly converge, turning routine transactions into more value-driven customer interactions. By enabling real-time rewards within the payment flow, the partnership could offer benefits for both consumers and merchants navigating a competitive digital commerce landscape. Neither company disclosed the financial terms of the partnership or expected performance metrics.
