Honasa Consumer Limited, the parent company of brands such as Mamaearth, The Derma Co., Aqualogica, Bblunt, and Dr. Sheth’s, has announced the appointment of Meetu Mulchandani as vice president and head, Brand Factory. According to the company, Brand Factory is a division dedicated to the development and growth of emerging brands. In her new role, Mulchandani will oversee the creation and development of new brands within Honasa’s portfolio, focusing on market research, consumer insights, concept testing, and business and marketing strategies, the company added.

From what is understood, Mulchandani brings nearly 20 years of experience in the beauty and personal care industry, including prior roles at Nyumi, The Mom’s Co., Healthkart, Alteus Biogenics, and Mankind Pharma. Having been with Honasa Consumer Limited for nearly four years, she has contributed to the growth of brands such as Aqualogica, The Derma Co., and Dr. Sheth’s. Under her leadership, Brand Factory will continue to drive the company’s innovation ecosystem by incubating and launching brands tailored to evolving consumer needs, the company commented.
