GMR Group and JSW Group announced a two-year rotational system for managing the cricketing operations of the Delhi Capitals IPL (Men) and Delhi Capitals WPL (Women) teams.
According to the company, the new structure aims to enhance operational efficiency within the franchise. For the next two years, GMR Group will manage the Men’s team, while JSW Sports will oversee the Women’s team.
This arrangement will reverse in 2027, with JSW Sports taking charge of the Men’s team. Business operations will remain under the Delhi Capitals’ management. Furthermore, key decisions like auctions and player management will be made by the Delhi Capitals board in collaboration with senior leadership from both groups, added the company.
